Series 2 is closed. It closed at block 962,183 — mined within the same new moon that carried the total eclipse of 12 August 2026, the shadow crossing Greenland, Iceland, and Spain. Every hermaion cast under Series 2 is fixed beneath that block; the coordinate has passed, and you cannot mint the same coordinate twice without re-mining the past.
From the seed the cast is mechanical. Take the first six hex digits; each is one line, read bottom to top, by the yarrow proportions — a 0 is old yin (changing), 1–5 young yang, 6–C young yin, D–F old yang (changing), the 1/16, 5/16, 7/16, 3/16 the stalks make. Solid lines (7, 9) are yang, broken (6, 8) yin. The bottom three lines form the lower trigram, the top three the upper, and the King Wen table turns that pair into one of the sixty-four. Any changing line then flips to its opposite — old yin to yang, old yang to yin — and a second hexagram rises behind the first: the “into,” the before-and-after.
